A content management system (Content Management System in English, abbreviated CMS) is a program that allows you to create a support structure (framework) for the creation and content management, mainly in web pages, by the participants.
Consists of an interface that controls one or more databases which hosts the site content. The system can independently manage the content and design. It is possible to manage content at any time and give a different design to the site without having to format the content again, and allows easy and controlled release on the site to several publishers. A classic example is the publishers that carry the content to the system and a higher level (directory) that allows these contents are visible to the public (the passes).
The most widely used CMS systems today are essentially 3 despite many available.
1) WordPress: very easy to use and excellent search engine rankings in addition to being free.
2) Joomla, like the previous one with many possibilities and very popular nowadays.
3) Drupal, for me a great CMS system and especially good for use on sites where competition is very high positioning.
There are many others but we were here for a closer look at future features utilities t each of these content management systems
