History

The company Google Inc. was founded in 1998 by Sergey Brin and Larry Page. Page and Brin have been researched at Stanford University and developed the PageRank algorithm. The name Google derives it from googol, the term for the number 10 ^ 100th In 1999, the search engine on their operation.
